What it does
Expensify manages receipts, card transactions, mileage and expense reports. Approvals, spending controls and accounting integrations connect employee spending with finance work.
An expense can need clarification even after the receipt is scanned. Expensify keeps a conversation on the expense itself, so the question and answer remain with the item being reviewed. Card transactions, mileage, policy checks and accounting connections support the wider team workflow.
An individual account can scan unlimited receipts, record mileage and export expenses without a paid workspace. On the web, use + > Create expense > Scan to upload a receipt, add any missing details and submit it. For a spreadsheet export, open Spend > Expenses, select the records and choose Export, under More if needed. CSV export requires the web interface.

The discounted Control annual rate is US$9 when at least half of the month's settled spending uses the Expensify Card. The card is optional. Collect's quoted terms apply to workspaces first created from April 1, 2025; older customers can have legacy pricing.
Creating a paid workspace starts a 30-day trial. Collect includes approvals, third-party card feeds and QuickBooks Online or Xero synchronization. The general ledger remains in the connected accounting product.
