What it does

ExpertSender combines store data with email, SMS and push messages for customer follow-up. Its scenarios use behaviour, consent and order details to control who receives each step. Staff work through user accounts, and a tailored quote uses monthly counts of customers with marketing consent and engaged website sessions.

An abandoned-cart sequence needs to respond when the shopper changes the cart. In ExpertSender's scenario settings, limit the customer to one active entry and choose to cancel that entry when a new one starts. The next sequence can then use the latest cart contents. Add a purchase exit with the appropriate order status and recency, rather than continuing every reminder after a purchase. If both order and visit exits are selected, either condition removes the customer.

Prepare content in Scenarios > Email contents. Regular email campaigns have their own audience and delivery settings and do not appear in the scenario's content selector. Website tracking and prior customer visits are prerequisites for the documented first-scenario workflow; the email step also asks which consent type is required.

Monthly platform pricing uses customers with active marketing consent and engaged sessions, with the highest monthly values recorded from daily data. GA4 figures help estimate a quote, but the ECDP tracking script supplies billing data and can count sessions differently. Recommendation pricing separately considers website users and recommendation requests, using the higher applicable package.

For a pricing discussion, the vendor asks for a GA4 exploration covering full recent months, with Month as the row and Active users, Views and Engaged sessions as values. This gives the sales team a consistent starting point for the proposal. Within ECDP, open the avatar menu and My account to change the display name or working language and review login history.

Strengths

  • Scenario re-entry can replace an older cart sequence
  • Purchase exits can account for order status and recency

Watch out for

  • Regular campaign emails cannot be selected directly as scenario content
  • Billing session counts can differ from indicative GA4 figures

Best for

  • Online stores coordinating consent-aware cart and customer lifecycle communication
