What it does
ExpressVPN sells a consumer VPN subscription with desktop, mobile, television and router options, plus security products in its plan bundles.
A router is part of ExpressVPN's documented device options alongside the familiar phone and computer apps. That is useful when planning VPN access for devices that cannot run a VPN app themselves. Begin with the setup route for the device you actually use; a router configuration is a different job from installing the mobile app.
The homepage also advertises password, alias and identity products. Compare the VPN entitlement with the bundle you choose rather than assuming every additional product is available in every region. For a shared household setup, the router route is the first configuration guide to read.
ExpressVPN's policy separates the VPN from optional MediaStreamer. The VPN's no-activity and no-connection-log statements coexist with account information and aggregate usage statistics; sending app diagnostics requires opting in. MediaStreamer can register an IP address to authorize access for devices without VPN support. Do not apply the VPN logging description indiscriminately to that separate service.
