What it does
Harvard Extension School offers courses and longer study pathways designed for adult learners balancing education with other commitments.
A single course and a longer academic program involve different planning. Harvard Extension School presents both, with teaching in virtual classrooms and on campus. Compare the delivery requirements before deciding whether a route fits your location and schedule. Its adult-learning focus makes the structure of attendance as relevant as the subject you want to study.
Most individual courses are open for enrollment without degree admission. A degree route has separate admission and attendance requirements; the school’s comparison page identifies an on-campus experience for degrees. Inspect the exact course format and program requirements before planning wholly remote study.
