What it does
F1 TV offers Formula 1 video and timing, with live race coverage available through eligible plans in selected countries.
Live onboards and session timing make F1 TV useful for following a race beyond the main broadcast. The Pro overview lists practice, qualifying and race viewing, full-session replays, analysis and support-series coverage. Archive races and documentaries are also part of F1 TV Access, so watching historic material does not require choosing the same offer as live-race followers.
Check the current local plan before race weekend. Subscription terms make content and features territory-dependent, with specific portability rules for eligible European subscriptions. A historic country list is a poor basis for assuming live coverage is included today.
For US viewers, the 2026 offer uses Apple TV: F1 TV Premium is included through that subscription, with supported F1 TV app access for additional series. Check that current route rather than relying on an older US standalone Pro offer.
Strengths
- Onboard feeds, timing and full-session replays support closer race analysis.
Watch out for
- Live coverage, features and travel access depend on territory and subscription.
