What it does
Fair Analytics supplies website traffic and journey reports, session recordings, heatmaps and goals through a site tracking snippet. Exports and team access support sharing a defined investigation.
Fair Analytics combines traffic reports with the path a visitor took through a website. A journey can be examined through session recordings and heatmaps for desktop, tablet or mobile screens. Outbound-link reports show destination domains, click totals and recent clicks, so an intentional exit can be investigated separately.
Goals track selected outcomes, while team access and weekly email reports help colleagues follow the same site. Data can be exported in CSV, JSON or PDF format.
Create an account with a name, email address and password, then use the site's tracking snippet to collect visits. The paid service offers a seven-day trial. Its account scope allows up to 50 websites; the trial advertises 100,000 pageviews per website and 100 recordings per website per month.
Recording capacity and retention are separate from the pageview allowance. The trial retains pageview and event data for two years but recordings for two months. That shorter recording window matters when a team plans to revisit an older interaction.
Strengths
- Combines journeys, replay and device-specific heatmaps.
- Supports goal tracking and several export formats.
Watch out for
- Recording capacity and retention are limited separately from pageviews.
Best for
- Website teams investigating a specific journey or interaction
