What it does
FineBI is FanRuan's self-service analytical platform with data connections, a metric hub, a data catalogue and dashboard exploration. Its current offer also supports natural-language analysis and integration with the Dora data agent.
FineBI gives business users a catalogue of datasets and shared metric definitions alongside dashboard exploration. Database connections, spreadsheets and API sources can supply the underlying data. The metric hub holds business calculations, while the catalogue helps users find and preview analytical assets within their permissions.
Those definitions matter when several teams use the same measure. A shared revenue metric, for example, can carry the agreed calculation into dashboard filters and drill-downs instead of leaving each report author to rebuild it. Natural-language analysis and the separate Dora integration add other ways to work with the same analytical environment.
Commercial registration enables the purchased function points. Administrators review the licence in Manage > Registration. During an unregistered evaluation, all functions can be tested, but only two different IP addresses can use the server concurrently; public-link access also counts. The server pauses every seven days and needs a restart.
Ask FanRuan for a FineBI quote covering the required deployment and functions. FineReport is a separate reporting product.
