FERS Structural Calculators

FERS provides free browser calculators for sections, beams and frames. Its cantilever tool takes span, stiffness/section properties and point, distributed, moment or axial loads, with SI/US unit controls and an optional root rotation spring. It returns reactions, shear/moment, tip deformation and an elastic stress ratio, with CSV/SVG/PNG downloads and a share link. The model is linear elastic Euler–Bernoulli with small deflections and no shear deformation. It does not check lateral-torsional/local buckling or connections, and stress divided by yield strength is not a member design check. Choose the intended L or 2L convention for a deflection ratio. Basic use needs no sign-up; generating a report requires a free account.
