What it does
FFAStrans is a media workflow engine that combines processing blocks from FFmpeg, AviSynth, and other tools. It can run on one PC or as a multi-server processing installation.
Build a file route by connecting a folder monitor, an H.264 encoder and a delivery-folder processor, then configure the watched path, encoder and destination. Starting the workflow enables monitoring; files can also be submitted manually while it is disabled. The same visual engine supports decision branches and a service-based processing farm. Watchfolder history matters: rebuilding it marks existing files as processed, while clearing it makes them eligible again. Work-folder retention and host inclusion are configurable. FFAStrans is free to use; its API submits jobs to the configured installation rather than a separately hosted conversion service.
