What it does
FigJam is Figma’s online whiteboard for brainstorming, diagramming, workshops and planning. Shapes, connectors and templates help teams map user flows and customer journeys together. It is included with all Figma seat types, including limited free Starter access, and uses a Figma account.
Start before the interface screens
FigJam's shapes and snap-to-grid connectors map a process or user journey while teammates edit together. Ready-made boards include Project kickoff, Flow chart, Customer journey map, Standup and Retrospective templates. Pick Start with this template on a relevant example to create the board's initial structure.
FigJam seats
The whiteboard is included with every Figma seat type. The Starter plan is free with limited product access. Paid Professional, Organization and Enterprise plans add broader team allowances and administration; someone who only needs whiteboarding can choose a Collab seat instead of a Full design seat.
FigJam is suitable for a workshop that maps a task and records the discussion. Figma Design is the separate product for detailed interface authoring. The two can support the same project, but buying a design seat is not required solely to use FigJam.
