What it does
FileZilla is a desktop transfer client with multiple server tabs, local-and-remote file comparison and remote editing.
FileZilla puts local and remote files into a desktop transfer workflow for FTP, FTPS and SFTP servers, with comparison, remote editing and multiple server tabs. Decide how existing destination files should be treated before repeating a delivery. The shared FileZilla/FileZilla Pro documentation offers overwrite, newer-file or size-based replacement, resume, rename and skip, with separate upload and download defaults and queue-level overrides. Newer-file comparisons require aligned timestamps or a configured server time offset. The open-source client supports Windows, macOS and Linux; the server still supplies its own access permissions.
