What it does
Film Movement Plus streams independent features, documentaries and world cinema. The catalogue includes film descriptions and offers monthly or annual subscription access.
Browse the independent and world-cinema library before joining, especially for a particular director or national cinema. Film Movement Plus is available in the US and its territories and in Canada, where some films are excluded. Its device routes include browsers, iOS and Android, Roku, Fire TV and selected smart TVs.
Direct subscription and Prime Video Channels are alternative purchase routes; check the one you will use rather than assuming account access transfers. The distributor also offers individual digital rentals without a Plus subscription, with a film-page indication when a rental is already included for subscribers.
Watch out for
- Some films available in the US are unavailable in Canada.
