What it does
Filmsupply licenses footage from filmmakers and groups related clips into shoots and scenes. It suits productions that need several connected shots, with paid rights managed for each project. A free account also provides access to footage research assistance.
A 1080p watermarked preview lets you place a candidate clip in an edit or pitch before licensing it. Purchased clips come in ProRes; some also offer raw R3D files, and many are available at 4K or higher.
Choose the project’s distribution
Internal licences start at $109 per clip for uses such as training and shareholder meetings. Web/Social starts at $219 per clip. Extended Use, covering options such as television, film, video on demand and games, requires a quote.
Select the applicable project details at checkout. The licence applies to one named film project and end client, rather than every future production. Preview files cannot appear in final public materials.
If searching individual clips is taking too long, send Filmsupply a brief or treatment. Its footage research service supplies a shortlist in your account at no extra charge.
