What it does
Financial Datasets supplies company statements, operating KPIs, guidance and filing information through an API. Its examples link reported figures to source filings. Access is available through prepaid request credits or personal and commercial subscriptions.
Follow a number back to its source
Company KPIs and non-GAAP measures can mean different things across businesses. Financial Datasets places filing citations beside its example metrics, helping a researcher inspect the original wording before combining them in a model. Core data also includes statements, earnings, insider trades, holdings and news.
| Access option | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Credits | US$20 for 1,000 requests, a personal licence and one year of history |
| Personal subscription | Longer history and a larger request allowance |
| Professional subscription | Commercial redistribution with attribution, webhooks and service commitments |
Premium datasets consume a multiple of a standard request, so a KPI query can cost more credits than a core endpoint.
Register, create a key in the dashboard and supply it in the X-API-KEY header. Select the licence according to who will see the resulting data, as the credit package does not include redistribution rights.
