What it does
Firefox is Mozilla's browser with built-in tracker blocking and cross-platform browsing-data features.
Firefox includes tracker blocking by default and can import bookmarks, passwords and history from another browser. That gives an existing browser user a concrete migration route. Inspect its privacy controls and optional features after import, and follow Mozilla's download guidance for the operating system you use.
Browser-side tracking controls affect particular requests and local state. A website you sign into still has the information you choose to provide to that account.
