What it does
First Tech Federal Credit Union combines digital account banking with a Manage Cards widget. Members can lock or replace cards and access digital card details. Rewards Checking has no monthly maintenance fee, while extra rewards depend on monthly activity.
A misplaced card and a replacement need different actions
Open Manage Cards for a temporary lock. It stops new transactions but permits recurring payments, prior authorizations and refunds. For a card that is definitely lost or stolen, use Replace Card instead. Business cards are excluded from these lock and wallet features.
Adding a replacement card to Apple Pay or Google Pay works in the mobile app; the desktop service cannot perform that wallet setup. After a lost-card replacement, the app prompts you to choose a new PIN and add the new card.
Costs and reward conditions
Rewards Checking has no monthly maintenance fee. Qualifying for additional rewards requires all three conditions each monthly cycle: at least $1,000 in electronic bank deposits (ACH or direct deposit), at least $1,000 in qualifying First Tech card purchases, and electronic statements and notices. These are reward conditions, not a monthly-fee waiver. Purchases must post before the last calendar day of the month, so a late purchase can miss the cycle.
Online banking also supports wire initiation. Incoming domestic and international wires are free; outgoing domestic wires cost $15 and outgoing international wires cost $40.
