What it does
FitNotes is an Android gym-workout logging app. It supports sets, supersets, routines, exercise notes and training-history views, with rest timing and lifting calculators. The base app is free without advertising; a paid Supporter app adds exercise types.
Start by creating a routine from exercises you already use, then log the sets within a workout. Exercise history and progress graphs provide a way to return to earlier sessions, while notes can keep useful context with a movement or set. The calendar can be filtered by exercise or category.
The help library separates rest timing, plate calculation, estimated one-repetition maximums and workout copying into individual topics. That makes it useful when a specific logging step is unfamiliar. Body measurements are also configurable, including custom measurements. The platform boundary is clear: the developer states that FitNotes is Android-only, with no current iPhone version planned. The optional Supporter purchase is separate from the free base logger.
