What it does
Fiuu provides payment gateways, links and phone-based Virtual Terminal tools for Southeast Asian merchants. Businesses can combine local wallets and banking methods with cards, subject to channel approval. Processing fees vary by method and market; the Malaysian offer also includes account and optional terminal charges.
For a sale agreed over social media, a payment link avoids building a full online store. In the merchant portal, choose Payment Link, generate a Default Link, fill in the payment details and share it. The Virtual Terminal app provides a similar route through Share Link after you enter the app passcode.
At a physical counter, Virtual Terminal also handles QR and contactless payment options, with transaction status, history and daily reports in the app. Receipts can be shared by text or email. Tap to Pay on iPhone is currently limited to Singapore and Malaysia; that feature's coverage is narrower than Fiuu's wider payment network.
Start by registering with an email address, supplying company details and certified documents, then selecting a plan. Approval arrives by email. Card-channel approval has a longer process than ordinary account registration, so arrange it before promising customers that a particular card will work.
Malaysian fee examples
The published Booster proposal distinguishes online and retail charges:
| Method | Online | Offline retail |
|---|---|---|
| DuitNow QR | 1.00% | 0.80% |
| Local Visa or Mastercard credit cards | 2.40% | 1.50% |
The proposal adds 0.25% for Shopify merchants and lists MYR99 annual maintenance from year two. Get the applicable account-opening quote before joining. Domestic e-wallet settlement is listed as T+2; the other named groups use weekly Thursday settlement, moving to the next business day when necessary. The minimum settlement is MYR100.
Developers can integrate checkout through Fiuu's programming interfaces (APIs). Its web integration example takes the merchant, payment method, amount and order reference as inputs. Match those settings to the methods approved for the merchant account rather than assuming every channel in the regional catalogue is enabled.
