What it does
Floodfonts presents Felix Braden’s type designs, including Arpona, Tuna, Pulpo and Scuba, with separate commercial and free sections. Its free releases can be used in commercial and noncommercial publications, with restrictions on modifying or redistributing the fonts.
The in-use gallery connects each project to a named family. Arpona appears on Lipton packaging, Arpona Sans on hotel stationery, and Tuna in an annual report. These examples put the type in different sizes and densities, while the Commercial Fonts section leads to fuller family presentations and the relevant retailer.
For a free font, open Free Fonts and choose the sample image for a release such as Rollmops, Moby or Hydrophilia. The images link directly to ZIP downloads without an account. Rollmops includes both OpenType and TrueType files plus a README explaining its permissions. Keep that file with the fonts if you pass a copy to a friend.
Free-section fonts permit commercial and noncommercial publication, but cannot be redesigned, sold or offered for download without the designer’s permission. Commercial families use their distributing foundry’s agreement, so the free collection’s terms do not extend to Arpona, Scuba or other paid releases.
