What it does
Floorplanner is an online tool for drawing rooms, adding furniture and creating 2D and 3D visuals. A free Basic account supports casual use, with optional paid upgrades and subscriptions.
Before moving furniture, draw the room with its doors and windows in Floorplanner. The editor lets you recreate the space and test arrangements, while the 3D view gives another way to judge the result.
Its furniture library supports both domestic and other kinds of spaces, so a useful first project is a small, real room with a specific question to answer. Keep dimensions as the foundation rather than beginning with decorative objects. The Basic account is described as free for continuing casual use; higher-level output and other upgrades are optional paid routes. Establish the output you need before choosing one.
The free allowance covers up to five projects, with three floors and three designs total in each. Free exports are 960 × 540 pixels with a Floorplanner watermark. A one-off credit purchase can upgrade a project, so a household needing a sharper image does not necessarily need a subscription.
