What it does

Flowmapp is a visual website-planning tool combining sitemaps, user flows, wireframes and page content. It also includes project briefs and estimation features for planning and presenting web work.

Flowmapp keeps a website brief, sitemap, user flows, wireframes, content and estimates inside one project. To start a sitemap, open the project, choose New Sitemap, then Blank or + Template Sitemap. A paid plan can also import an XML sitemap; the help guide limits that import to 500 pages.

The page editor keeps content and wireframes connected to the structure, while estimates can attach rates and work hours to the planned pages. To continue the visual design in Figma, use the project’s Figma button beside Export, copy the sitemap link and paste it into the Flowmapp Figma plugin. The plugin can bring across every page with a wireframe or just the current page.

A free account includes one project with 20 pages, one user flow with 50 elements, and 100 MB of storage. Pro increases the allowance to 15 active projects; Team and Agency support unlimited projects, with different workspace arrangements. Paid plans are subscriptions, and trials do not require a credit card.

After a paid subscription ends, you keep one active project on Free and archive the others. The archived projects become available again after upgrading, which matters if you regularly revisit past client plans.

Strengths

  • Sitemaps, user flows and wireframes can be planned together.
  • Content and contextual notes keep page requirements near the design.
  • Figma export can transfer one wireframe page or all wireframed pages.

Watch out for

  • Free accounts are limited to one 20-page project and a 50-element user flow.
  • XML sitemap imports are paid features and the help guide caps them at 500 pages.

Best for

  • Teams planning website structure and content before implementation
