What it does
FluentU builds language lessons around authentic video, including tools for using Netflix and YouTube material.
FluentU makes video the starting point for study. Choose content in the language you are learning, use its study player and connect the spoken material with practice. The public site also advertises a speaking tutor, which may interest learners who want to respond as well as watch. Inspect the language and trial terms before subscribing rather than assuming every video source is included automatically.
Use interactive subtitles to look up an unfamiliar word, slow or loop a difficult passage, then save vocabulary for contextual quizzes and spaced review. Plus and Super are paid plans with different daily AI-tutor limits. Video study tools do not by themselves establish access to a paid streaming service’s catalogue.
