What it does
Fontwerk sells retail typefaces and custom font services, with free evaluation files for desktop and web layouts. Its Base License combines one desktop user, 10,000 monthly web pageviews and 10,000 social-media followers. Paid licences are perpetual within their purchased limits.
Fontwerk’s Get Trial Fonts route supplies the whole library in one download. Trial files contain the characters and features except currency symbols, with static OTF and WOFF2 files plus variable TTF and WOFF2 versions. Their names include FwTrial. Evaluation has no time limit, but projects need paid fonts before publication or production.
The family catalogue identifies structures such as Nice’s optical sizes and Push’s widths. These controls belong to the particular family, so a trial download can cover both the intended style and its available variants.
The Base License bundles desktop, web and social use. Larger teams or audiences need extensions, and App or Logo use can be added. Web applications that process data fall under App coverage, rather than the ordinary Web definition.
