foobar2000 provides music playback, conversion, audio-CD ripping and optional components across desktop and mobile clients.
Start with local files or network audio, then add components for a specific decoder, effect or conversion need. foobar2000 provides gapless playback, tagging, audio-CD ripping and conversion in its desktop workflow. Check the encoder pack when configuring conversion.
Windows and Mac use different effect integrations, and mobile apps should not be assumed to support every desktop component. The Windows download page separates stable releases from previews; Linux use is through Wine.
