What it does

FormBuilder creates hosted forms for enquiries, registrations and feedback. You can edit a draft before signing up, then verify an account email to publish it. Free access supports a small workload, with larger paid plans.

Start with a template or blank draft, edit the fields and use Preview. When saving or publishing, enter your email and follow the magic link to attach the draft to your account. Publish supplies a public link or embed code.

In Notifications, enable email alerts and add the owner or another recipient. Additional recipients must verify their addresses before receiving messages. Use Send test email before distributing the form.

Open Responses from the form's dashboard card. That marks unread submissions as read, which matters when the inbox is also your follow-up queue. Export CSV or JSON before deleting anything you need; response deletion is permanent.

Collection capacity

Plan Active forms Monthly responses Storage and scope
Free 5 100 100 MB; notifications, embedding and CSV export
Pro 100 10,000 1 GB; multipage forms, scheduling and branding
Business 500 50,000 10 GB; team workspaces and custom domains
Enterprise Custom Custom Tailored infrastructure and organization access

Free overage responses stay held until upgrade. Monthly or yearly paid plans offer extra capacity. The initial Pro/Business trial requires a card and charges after fourteen days unless cancelled.

Strengths

  • Notification recipients verify their address before receiving alerts
  • Response tools provide both CSV and JSON exports

Watch out for

  • Free responses over the monthly allowance remain held until upgrade
  • Opening the response page marks unread submissions as read

Best for

  • Small teams routing hosted-form submissions into an email and response queue
