What it does

FormKeep accepts submissions from existing HTML forms and offers a visual designer for hosted forms. Field Rules can direct different enquiries to different recipients, while notification and integration settings determine where each response goes.

In Form Designer, drag in the fields you need, then use each field's gear icon to set requirements, defaults and prompts. Save Settings and Design saves work without publishing it. Check Publish, save, and open Setup for the public link or embed code. Exported HTML can also be edited on your own site, but later designer changes require a fresh export; a dynamic embed updates automatically.

To send sales and support enquiries to different people, open Form Settings > Field Rules, choose the answer field and apply the Notification rule type. A Redirect rule can choose the return page instead. Export collected answers as CSV from Report. For confirmed email sign-ups, Notifications > Send Verification Emails delays normal notifications and integrations until the respondent clicks the verification link.

Plan Submissions per form each month Included forms
Free 50 Unlimited
Essential 1,000 1
Professional 10,000 3
Premium 100,000 10
Enterprise Unlimited 30

Paid plans charge separately for additional forms. Free stores answers for one month and sends daily notifications. Essential adds Field Rules, webhooks and uploads; Professional adds the other integrations and immediate notifications. Uploads are limited to 10 MB per file. Responses beyond a form's monthly allowance are ignored.

Strengths

  • The designer can publish a link, embed a form or export editable HTML.
  • Field Rules can select notification recipients from submitted answers.

Watch out for

  • Submissions beyond a form's monthly allowance are lost.
  • Saved designer changes do not update previously exported HTML automatically.

Best for

  • Designers and marketing teams routing website enquiries to different people
