What it does
Formsort builds multi-step forms with conditional questions, validation and data integrations. Teams can compare variants, preserve partial answers and choose when information reaches their own systems. It provides a free workspace allowance and paid plans for larger flows.
Formsort is useful when a partly completed application matters as well as a finished one. Answers appear in Responses, and integrations can send them at completion, after chosen save points, after every step or following abandonment. Returning-responder settings determine whether a new visit replaces an earlier response or creates another one.
Send answers to your own application
Open the flow's webhook integration, choose the posting frequency and enter the destination URL. Use View webhook payload to inspect the structure or Send test webhook to send dummy data, then save the configuration. Previously deployed flows should be deployed again after integration changes. Up to three destinations can receive different payloads or use different delivery schedules.
For a downloadable record, select an answer set in Responses, expand its details and choose Download PDF. CSV exports contain at most 100 responses per batch. Uploaded files appear by filename in CSV; their download links are available in Responses. Archiving removes an answer from the active view without deleting it.
| Plan | Monthly flow starts | Main distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 100 | Unlimited users and forms; Formsort branding |
| Pro | 1,000 | Custom design, submission frequency and returning-responder controls |
| Enterprise | More than 1,000, by agreement | Advanced roles, environments and storage choices |
A flow start is counted after a visitor completes at least one step, or restarts with new answers. Resuming an existing response does not add another start, and non-production flows are excluded. The allowance applies across the workspace. Free overages are discarded; Pro adds paid capacity. Create a Formsort account to build flows and access response data.
Strengths
- Webhook destinations can receive answers at different stages of a flow.
- Individual responses can be downloaded as PDF alongside batch CSV exports.
Watch out for
- CSV exports are limited to 100 responses per batch.
- Responses beyond the free allowance are discarded.
Best for
- Product teams handling multi-step applications and sending partial answers to their own systems
