What it does
FormSubmit receives HTML form submissions and emails them to a configured recipient. The service is free and uses email confirmation rather than account registration. Hidden fields control the subject, destination page, copies and other delivery behavior.
Connect a contact form to your mailbox
Set the form action to the FormSubmit recipient endpoint, use POST, and give every input a name attribute. Submit it once, then confirm the recipient address from the activation email. Only named fields are included in the delivered data.
Hidden fields can set _subject for the message subject and _next for a custom thank-you URL. _cc copies another mailbox; _webhook forwards submission data to another service. These settings are useful when the website has its own form layout but no submission server.
Acknowledgments have restrictions
An _autoresponse message requires the visitor's email field. It will not work with AJAX submissions or when reCAPTCHA is disabled. The service also recommends no more than 20 phrases in a _blacklist filter to avoid slowing submissions. No FormSubmit account is required.
