What it does
Forta Risk maps the contracts, administrators, oracles and collateral behind on-chain positions, showing exposure and alerts in a graph. Forta Firewall is a separate product for chains that screen transactions before execution.
Trace a position's dependencies
Forta Risk is designed for asset issuers, managers, curators and protocols. Select a node in its graph to see the entity behind it, the dependency path and the estimated US-dollar exposure against a configured limit. Teams can add private labels and set thresholds on individual dependencies.
Its monitored events include administrator changes, proxy upgrades, collateral changes and large asset movements. Alerts can arrive by email or webhook. The dashboard includes a filterable feed and CSV or PDF exports, while REST endpoints expose graph, exposure and alert data to other software.
Apply a chain's transaction rules
Forta Firewall operates at a chain's sequencer, the component that orders transactions. Operators configure whether a transaction should be allowed, flagged or blocked according to their rules. Forta describes checks for scams and sanctions-related signals, with optional external intelligence integrations.
These products address different jobs: Risk follows dependencies over time, while Firewall applies controls before execution. Teams need to confirm the covered networks and deployment requirements with Forta. Its monitoring and screening claims describe the service offered; they do not establish that every incident will be identified.
Strengths
- Dependency paths connect an exposure figure to the contracts or entities behind it.
- Thresholds and private labels let teams organize their own monitoring.
- Dashboard exports, REST access and webhooks support different reporting workflows.
Best for
- Asset teams monitoring indirect dependencies of on-chain positions
- Chain operators evaluating transaction-screening rules
