What it does
FreeAgent brings UK small-business invoices, expenses, projects, bank feeds and tax-related records into one account. The Admin To-Do List groups unfinished bookkeeping tasks. It has paid subscriptions and a 30-day trial, with ongoing free access for qualifying customers of certain UK business banks.
Is FreeAgent free?
FreeAgent is included while you retain an eligible business current account with NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland or Ulster Bank. Mettle customers must make at least one transaction a month to keep the free access. Optional add-ons can still cost extra.
For a UK limited company buying directly, the standard subscription is GBP 33 per month or GBP 330 per year, excluding VAT. Introductory discounts are temporary. Other business structures have separate pricing selections. A 30-day trial requires no credit card.
Turn bank activity into finished books
Bank feeds import transactions; invoices, mileage and expenses supply the detail behind them. The Admin To-Do List brings outstanding tasks together, and project records connect time and costs with client work.
FreeAgent describes direct filing for UK VAT, Self Assessment and specified year-end returns. The relevant business structure determines which filing functions apply. Choose that structure on the pricing page, create an account, then use the linked setup guide to prepare the books.
