What it does
FreeConvert processes video, audio, images, ebooks, documents, and archives online. It offers conversion and compression APIs alongside browser tools and connected-storage input.
For a video attachment, decide whether the job requires a new format, a smaller file, or both. FreeConvert separates conversion from compression and offers advanced settings for the chosen operation. Local files, URLs, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive appear as input routes. The homepage displays a 1 GB file allowance with upgrade links for larger work.
Paid plans are measured in monthly conversion minutes, alongside a maximum file size. The inspected table lists 1.5 GB for Basic, 2 GB for Standard and 5 GB for Pro; all paid plans allow 100 conversions at a time and cover both the website and API. Those are separate from the homepage's 1 GB upload label. FreeConvert says files are automatically deleted after eight hours, which makes it a temporary conversion workspace rather than an archive.
