What it does
Dr.Web CureIt! is a Windows malware-removal utility for one-off checks, with a separate Pro offering and no automatic definition updates in the basic utility.
CureIt! is an on-demand remediation utility whose definitions are current when downloaded and do not update automatically. Obtain a fresh copy for a later scan; it does not provide continuing real-time workstation protection. Doctor Web limits the free licence to curing the user's own home computer. Office machines, other people's computers and third-party repair work require a licence. The free version also sends scan statistics and system information to Doctor Web, including threat details and an infected-file hash when needed. The paid version can disable that reporting.
