What it does
Freerange Stock offers free stock images under Equalicense, alongside contributions that retain a CC0 designation. Its library has keyword search, category browsing and Popular Images and Newest Images views.
Create an account to access images, and check whether the selected picture uses Equalicense or CC0. Equalicense permits uses such as website illustrations, advertising and presentations without requiring attribution.
The template rule is especially useful for web designers: you may show a photograph in a template demonstration, but must leave it out of the template package distributed to customers. Equalicense also excludes standalone image redistribution and products whose main value comes from the photograph, including print-on-demand merchandise.
Download images individually. Freerange prohibits automated bulk downloading and may impose daily limits on accounts.
