What it does
Planet VPN offers a free no-registration tier with unlimited traffic and a restricted set of server locations, plus paid upgrades.
Planet VPN separates traffic allowance from location choice. Its free offer has no stated time or traffic cap but uses a smaller server selection; a paid upgrade expands the offer. That is useful if occasional access matters more than selecting a particular country. The page says the free service does not require signup. Install the official app for your platform and compare the available locations before assuming the free tier covers a specific destination.
Planet's policy excludes browsing, traffic-content and DNS activity logs while describing technical and usage information that it says is anonymized immediately. Paid accounts, support contacts and payment handling are separate. The notice also names analytics, diagnostics, experimentation and advertising partners. No-registration free access therefore describes how you start, rather than a promise that the app processes no operational information.
