What it does
fylm.ai combines manual and AI-assisted colour grading with reusable colour lookup tables, or LUTs. Photographers and colourists can work in the browser, with a free evaluation plan and paid plans for exports, Premiere Pro integration and collaboration.
Each grading tool occupies its own layer. Layers apply from top to bottom and can be reordered, switched off or given a different blending mode. Primary wheels and bars, curves, RGB parade, waveform, vectorscope and histogram views provide manual adjustment and inspection alongside reference matching and film looks.
For moving-image preview, Upload Files adds a video to Media. Open it, pause on a frame to grade, then play or loop the clip with that grade applied. The video guide recommends H.264 .mp4 files no larger than 4K, with HD at 4 to 5 Mb/s as its size/quality compromise.
Paid export routes include .cube LUTs, Adobe XMP profiles and Capture One outputs. The Premiere Pro extension sends a timeline to fylm.ai and syncs its grades back; it starts with Pro.

Strengths
- Reordering and toggling individual tools makes the grading sequence explicit.
- Premiere Pro sync and portable colour files provide different handoff routes.
Watch out for
- Free cannot import or export LUTs or presets.
- Lite uses one local browser project without bins or folders.
- Edits in a tool’s Wheels view do not carry into its Bars view.
Best for
- Photographers and colourists developing looks for reuse or client review.
