What it does
Gainsight PX provides feature instrumentation, paths, funnels and segmentation alongside targeted engagements and surveys. Product-usage data can connect with customer-success or CRM context for broader analysis.
Gainsight PX combines product-usage analysis with in-app guides and surveys across web, mobile and desktop products. A funnel can show where a feature journey loses users before a team decides whether to change the interface or add guidance.
In Analytics > Funnel > Create Funnel, set the audience and add steps using page views, features, custom events or engagement activity. The default audience filter uses activity in the last 30 days, so adjust it when the question needs another population. Steps can span products and channels.
Choose First Journey or All Journeys, set the date range and timeout, and decide whether completion can cross sessions or must happen within one session. Results show completion, drop-offs and average or median time. Select the traffic or drop-off details to inspect users; the funnel menu can export the selected step's user data as CSV.
PX uses a paid subscription arranged through Gainsight's pricing team, with a free-trial route available. An administrator invites colleagues under Administration > User Management > Add User and assigns their product permissions. Invitation links expire after seven days.
