What it does
Game-icons.net provides game-related symbols for video games, cards, board games and other projects. Its online Studio changes colors, rotation and effects before exporting SVG vector files or PNG images. Most artwork uses CC BY 3.0 and requires credit to its individual author.
Find and customize a game symbol
Browse tags such as Weapon, Creature & Monster or Food, or search for a broad subject. The FAQ recommends terms such as gun or football instead of the title of a particular game. Open a symbol to adjust it in Studio, or download the whole collection in one of the listed foreground and background variants.
SVG files remain editable in a vector editor. The online controls include color, rotation, blur, bevels, shadows and badges, which can give related cards or inventory items a consistent treatment.
Author credit belongs with the finished project
The FAQ distinguishes CC BY artwork from some public-domain contributions. For credited icons, it suggests a website credit page, a section in a board-game rulebook or a video-game menu. Record the author of each chosen symbol, since the collection has multiple contributors.
