What it does
The Garden Club of America connects member clubs through horticulture, conservation, education and civic projects. Its site publishes project stories and information on learning and scholarship activities.
A community garden idea becomes more concrete when you can see how another group organised a project. The Garden Club of America's public stories include civic planting and educational initiatives, providing examples to investigate rather than a single standard scheme to copy. Start with the horticulture or civic-project interest, then examine the relevant club or programme information. The organisation also supports scholarships and research, a different route from ordinary garden-club participation. Keep those purposes separate when using the site to find the next learning or community contact.
