What it does

The UCSC Genome Browser provides genomic visualization, sequence-alignment tools and table-oriented data access.

Choose the appropriate genome assembly before inspecting a region. The browser and table tools serve different tasks: one makes a locus visible, while the other helps filter associated data. Keep the assembly identifier with each coordinate or table export.

The Genome Browser requires JavaScript. The separate LiftOver tool converts coordinates between assemblies rather than making them equivalent automatically.
