What it does
The cartes.gouv.fr catalogue provides discovery of French geographic datasets and related services.
The former IGN Géoservices route leads to the cartes.gouv.fr data-discovery service. Search a resource, read its producer, update date, method and use limits, then choose a file or standard map stream. The guide describes territorial selections such as lidar tiles or department-level cadastral files. APIs are available where the producer provides them; the portal’s Etalab notice does not override item-specific rights.
