What it does
FlowBudget tracks accounts, income, expenses and budgets on iPhone, iPad and Mac without an app account. Its free plan includes two accounts and one budget. Pro adds unlimited tracking, iCloud sync, receipt scanning and monthly reports with PDF export.
FlowBudget's iPad layout puts accounts and budgeting pages in a persistent sidebar. One transaction form handles both a single purchase and a repeated entry through its Repeat option. When removing a recurring item, you can choose that occurrence, it and future occurrences, or the whole series. Upcoming entries stay separate from the balance until they occur.
What the free plan covers
Free use covers two accounts, with one budget, one savings goal, two recurring entries and two custom categories. Statistics cover the most recent three months. To bring in a spreadsheet, use Settings, then Import; the CSV importer provides a preview before adding records.
Pro removes these tracking limits and adds iCloud sync, receipt entry and monthly analysis. Apple Intelligence features need compatible hardware and a supported language; the report figures remain available when the written AI analysis cannot run. Shared accounts are still a planned feature.
Pro is sold monthly, annually or for a lifetime. The monthly and annual options include a seven-day trial, and the US App Store lists the lifetime purchase at US$49.99. Records remain readable after Pro expires. The Mac app is included in the same purchase as the iPhone and iPad versions.
