What it does

Formly creates forms, surveys and quizzes in single-page, slide and multipage layouts. Authors can recall earlier answers and show different questions or endings; free use includes unlimited forms and responses subject to fair use.

Choose Create Form and Start from scratch in your Formly account. Name it, add questions with the plus button and set required answers or character limits in the right panel. Type @ to recall an earlier answer in another question or ending.

Settings selects the layout; Logic controls conditional questions and endings. Check Preview, then Publish and copy the link from Share.

Free use and subscription conditions

Formly's free offer has no fixed form or response count, but fair-use conditions still apply. Examples of sustained heavy use include more than 50,000 responses each month or bursts of at least 300 an hour over extended periods. Formly may discuss a custom plan for that usage. Branding can only be removed on a plan that includes that option.

Paid access is billed per user, monthly or yearly. Extra seats are prorated when added. The paid period runs to its end after cancellation: forms then become private and stop collecting answers, while previously collected results remain available. To change a plan, open your avatar, Settings and Upgrade.

Strengths

  • Earlier answers can be inserted into later questions and completion screens.
  • Authors can preview conditional questions before publishing a shareable link.

Watch out for

  • A paid plan's expiry makes its forms private and stops new collection.
  • Brand removal requires an eligible subscription.

Best for

  • Form authors tailoring later questions and endings to earlier answers
