What it does

Sling by Toast manages staff schedules, communication and time records. Teams can distinguish recurring unavailability from leave for particular dates and send changes in availability through a manager's approval.

Use unavailability for a repeating constraint such as a class timetable. It can repeat every one to four weeks and have an end date. Time off covers particular full or partial days and does not repeat.

On Premium or Business, an administrator can enable approval in Dashboard → Settings → Schedule. Proposed changes arrive on the dashboard in yellow; review them and approve or deny. An approved set cannot be edited by the employee. They must submit another request, with the option to copy the previous set. Managers and administrators can also adjust it on their behalf.

Choose a scheduling plan

Plan USD per user/month Main additions
Free No charge, up to 30 users Scheduling, time-off requests and private messages
Premium 2 monthly; 1.70 with annual payment Mobile time tracking, labor costs and group messages
Business 4 monthly; 3.40 with annual payment Shared-device time clock, wage reports and paid leave management

The evaluation lasts 15 days. An administrator creates the company account with email and password or Google, then verifies their email before completing setup.
