What it does
GitAuto is a GitHub app that writes unit tests, opens pull requests, runs CI, fixes failures, addresses review comments and merges when checks pass. It connects to existing coverage reports and supports languages and frameworks including Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, PHP, Ruby and Flutter. Work can run on a schedule. Pricing is pay per pull request, with free starting credits.
GitAuto installs as a GitHub App. Setup covers coverage reporting, repository rules and schedule triggers. The documentation also lists test failure triggers, review comment triggers and dashboard triggers, plus CircleCI and npm integrations. Repository rules and a GITAUTO.md file control test generation, and auto-merge can merge pull requests when checks pass. Coverage setup guides exist for Python pytest and coverage.py, JavaScript Jest, Vitest and Istanbul, Java JaCoCo with Maven or Gradle, Go, PHP PHPUnit, Ruby SimpleCov and Flutter. The site lists a sales contact form and email [email protected].
