What it does
OpenNetMeter monitors current network speed, session use and historical data totals, with CSV, JSON and HTML exports.
Use OpenNetMeter’s widget for current network speed and its session or daily totals for accumulated use. Historical reports cover a selected date range within the configured retention, then export as CSV, JSON or HTML. Retention defaults to 60 days and can be extended indefinitely, so choose it before expecting a long comparison window. The Windows application requires Administrator privileges. The repository now distributes an MSI with the runtime included, replacing the older ZIP route, and states that the installer is not code-signed. Those installation details should guide source verification and deployment decisions rather than be treated as a security finding.
