What it does

Cryptocurrency Icons provides crypto and selected fiat-currency symbols in several styles. The repository includes SVG artwork, transparent PNGs and a manifest of names, symbols and colors.

Install cryptocurrency-icons and select a symbol from its SVG or transparent PNG folders. A manifest connects each currency identifier with its name and color, which is useful for keeping a wallet list or currency selector consistent. A generic icon covers currencies missing from the collection.

The collection offers four styles and PNG sizes of 32 pixels, 32 pixels at double density, and 128 pixels, alongside vectors. Its small fiat selection includes USD, GBP, EUR, JPY, CNY and RUB; the project does not intend to expand that fiat list.

The artwork is free under CC0, and public npm installation has no product-account requirement. CC0 does not clear third-party trademark rights. The files provide symbols and display metadata, so use a separate data source if the interface also needs market prices or current trading availability.

Strengths

  • A manifest connects symbol identifiers, names and colors.
  • The generic icon provides a documented missing-currency fallback.

Watch out for

  • The repository does not intend to expand its small fiat-currency selection.

Best for

  • Currency selectors and wallet interfaces
  • Designers needing consistent currency artwork
