What it does

FFaudioConverter converts music or video sources into audio through a graphical FFmpeg interface. It supports folder jobs, sample-rate changes, audio filters, and several common output codecs.

FFaudioConverter takes music or video sources through FFmpeg to MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, FLAC or WAV. Drop files or whole directories, choose the output and adjust sample rate or audio filters as needed. SoX resampling is available; bass and fades are examples of processing that changes the audio beyond its format. Quick mode can copy same-format files and skip already converted material for repeat folder jobs. The GPL-3.0 project documents Linux packages and a portable Windows build, with conversion performed by the desktop application.

Strengths

  • Combines folder processing with resampling, filters, and skip/copy choices.

Best for

  • Users preparing audio outputs from mixed media folders
