What it does
BPMN Font provides BPMN 2.0 symbols for text editors and web pages, with a character-code demo and prefixed CSS classes.
BPMN Font places process-model symbols inside text-based work. It can be used in Word, Vim or another text editor, and the demo maps each included symbol to its character code. That makes it useful for process documentation that needs an event or task symbol alongside a written explanation.
For a webpage, expose the distribution files, include the supplied CSS and reference a class beginning with bpmn-icon-. A task symbol, for example, can be placed with its named class in a span. The font delivers the visual vocabulary; connections and the wider diagram remain part of the surrounding document or application.
The font is released under SIL OFL 1.1. Preserve the font's license when redistributing it, and choose symbols by their intended BPMN role when explaining a process.
