What it does
Kindle Comic Converter prepares comics for e-readers using image folders, archives, EPUB, or PDF inputs. It produces several fixed-layout ebook, comic-archive, PDF, and image outputs.
Choose the reader profile, page/spread processing and output format, then drop inputs into KCC and convert. Results normally sit beside the source; the CLI can choose another destination and split volumes. A Kobo profile plus EPUB produces KEPUB, while Kindle Scribe 2025 should use PDF because MOBI can show blank pages. MOBI creation needs KindleGen, commonly detected from Kindle Previewer; certain archives/features need 7-Zip. The CLI delete option irreversibly removes sources, and the separate comic-to-panel tool has an in-place overwrite option. USB copying avoids third-party conversion that can break fixed layout.
Strengths
- Combines comic-page preparation with device-oriented ebook conversion.
Watch out for
- The project warns of limited MOBI support on Kindle Scribe 2025.
Best for
- Readers preparing legally obtained comics for e-ink devices
