What it does
Calibre-Web Automated extends Calibre-Web with additional calibre capabilities and automation around a self-hosted ebook library.
Read the migration instructions if you already run Calibre-Web, then test the library workflow on a separate copy. The project is a substantially developed fork with its own maintenance and setup choices.
For a NAS share, the documented network-share mode changes database locking and file watching to polling. That setup differs from a local disk and can add a short detection delay. Use the ingest settings to choose ignored and target formats before feeding in a large collection.
